Hmmm, what I am thinking is that what we could do here, is something that we could NOT do on the 'Gon.

That is, actually having a local club.

I had hoped to find fellow audiophiles in northern AL/south-central TN, but thus far no luck. There are only 2 of us (which is hard to believe) that have surfaced. There is a group that seems to do vintage equipment. We do now have a start-up mid-level brick & mortar whose owners said they were going to spread the word, but nothing has materialized yet. We’ll keep trying!

Hey Mr P I lived in Fort Myers for 20 years before moving just north of Tampa.
We lived on McGregor Blvd a bit south of the Edison-Ford Estate.
Didn't recognize the city from Daniels Rd south when we were down there 1 1/2 years ago.
