What Vinyl Do You Have On The Table?

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin, Classic Records SD 8216

This is the first I really heard this album sound this good, and I’m at like 25 hours through burn in.

What a great pressing/version!

and......there is a Classic Records 45rpm version too, which is even better......and a master tape version (i might have played for you and Mark).....which is even better than the 45.

it's all about the media.

The 45 seems elusive right now, I’m pretty sure IV on 45 is what Fremer played for us at RMAF at PS Audio - and it had everyone on their head

Nice, love anything Pink Floyd. The "Early Years" Compilation, "1972 Obfus/cation" includes the entire original "Live At Pompeii". I was excited about this since I had a video of this way before anyone was making music videos.

Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell!

The album cover actual says NFR! But she said this is the cover she wanted. :)

Nice...

I have picked up some of my favorite Floyd albums that I only had on CD prior. Dark Side and Wish You Were Here I have in SACD so didn't pick those up :)....

These remasters from original analog tapes are outstanding. Well worth grabbing for any Pink Floyd fan!

The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet

I did a little research on Discogs, and ended up with this period pressing.

Three turns on the Audio Desk Glass, quick carbon brush and a stylus dip in the Onzow, and down goes the needle onto the vinyl.

The jacket has seen better days, but the record is mint, no surface noises, scratches or the like.

Sympathy for the Devil outpaces the high res download and streaming versions I have.

I find period albums do better with Tone Controls set to on in my system, I must be trying to get back to my Dads Marantz / JBL system.

I will continue to build from period pieces, new 45 reissues where it is native to Analog from known engineers and plants.

The Cure ‎– Bloodflowers - original 2000 Euro release. one of their best and in the top 4 with Disintegration, Faith and Seventeen Seconds in no particular order.

Led Zeppelin III

I was after the Classic Records 180 gram version, and ordered it at premium off DisCogs or so I may of thought - the version received appears to be a 2014 release from ATLANTIC / WARNER , the version that comes with the Companion record -

Seller is telling me it’s a Classic Records production, with markings only to support reissue, and I believe Classic Records transferred to Acoustic around 2012?

Still sounds decent, will keep it despite outcome as I like to move the picture wheel, brings back memories

I would report him or at least give bad feedback. He can't think this is OK. I saw probably the exact same version new at Best Buy the other day.

Glad it is good sounding though. I have a high res download of all the Led Zep (except I think the last two). Great stuff!

Ok so I continue through my nostalgic different bands :)... with 10cc! (listening to I'm Mandy Fly Me right now!)

Another new album (double album) that just arrived.

This lady amazes me. She does all vocals, plays almost all instruments, composes all songs, and has worked with a husband and wife team since day one. The husband is her producer and the wife is her lyricist. She refuses to ever tour, yet has sold almost 100 million albums! Oh, she has also sang/recorded in 10 languages...

Simply wow...

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland - Remastered from the original analog tapes by Bernie Grundman.

The album is done and presented well for this album and time period, a recommended buy.

Original Members of Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding create album # 3 with some great performances by invited guests like heard on Voodoo Child. Meanwhile, Jimi’s studio costs were skyrocketing so he bought a building and created a studio that was nearing completion of this album in Greenwich Village, NYC - the most expensive studio on the planet at that time, and paid for by endless work to see it happen by the highest paid rock musician of that brief period - he was about 25 during all this - a lot to take on for that age.
