[FONT=&quot]Colder - Many Colours - 2LP Euro pressing. One of my fav 2016 releases after a long abscence.

This is where the REL really comes into play.

Kate Mc Garry/ Easy to love, 12" groovy thing - really love the fact, that while 45 rpm, it is one disc (instead e.g. 2 with 2 tracks on each side, like some of the recent AP releases).

Eric Johnson/ Europe live, 12" spinning media.

Had to get this on vinyl as well, Manhattan is the quasi-perfect electric guitar piece: The strumming solo play technique and pleck picking flowing into the chorus, smart harmonics, great guitar sounds (borrowing a bit from grandmaster Beck). Fine album.

Ziggy Stardust/ David Bowie, vinyl.

In reminiscence of David Bowie. In my humble view this is still his most remarkable work. Especially considering he was 25 when recording the album.

This is my most tightly grooved vinyl yet, AP 002 pressing of Ray Brown's Soular Energy.

Had to adjust the VTA to be perfectly aligned to get the full benefit. Rather unforgiving, but nice when the set up is good.

At least we can agree on something. That Ray Brown LP is really good.

There was a warning sticker from the label on the record, indicating that you might not get the full benefit of the LP, in case setup is not 100% [emoji3].

The older Mark Knopfler gets, the more he sounds like he is the leader of a JJ Cale cover band. Lucky I like JJ Cale

I can see why this album sounds so good - vinyl mastered from original tapes by chris bellman at bernie grundman mastering.

Autechre - Tri Repetae. vinyl reissue. pressing is perfect and sound quality excellent.

Warp records have hit another home run. reissue is stunning and equally as good as the first two album re-issues of Incunabula and Amber. Buy them all while they are still available.

Have to come back again to the setup issue of getting the Soular Energy AP002 pressing sound good. Took a while to make it work, the benefit however is now everything sounds better.
