The sound quality is pretty good Paul. It was mastered by Bob Ludwig. Not up to Allmans- Live at the Filmore, but pretty close.
 
Paul...My first listen. Just got this from Amazon. This is the 3-CD version. Just finished first CD. Sounds nice. Also got the 2000 Madison Square Garden Concert Live but haven't listened to that yet. Still have two more CDs to listen to on this one.

If you are looking for nice live albums, then in rock Allmans- Live at Fillmore and Eat a Peach, the Bruce set. For Blues, BB King and Bobby Bland both Together albums and both Albert Collins live albums. For Jazz, Monty Alexander- Live in Tokyo and Live at Montreux, Oscar Peterson- Live in Russia. There are many other, but just off the top of my head.

Oh yes Paul, I've seen this artist a few times a long time ago and he has always amazed me with his live performance back in the day... Blind or not, he's pretty darn talented on a lot of instruments, a sad loss at such a young age. .
 
I heard few nice songs when we (Mike,Mark and I ) visited the Tenor's place.

This is one artist we all impressed with ( Ordered next day :) )

Listening one of my all time FAVORITE Jazz album. ( I even love the cover picture - So cool )
