VPI Classic 3 Review (mini review)

Hehehe!!! I see many spare arm tubes and cartridges in your future.
Was just looking at the classic 3 armtube for $1099 on music direct.
 
Mike just wondering if you used a test record for the setup?
I'm thinking of buying one just to test out my table make sure if it needs adjustment I'm on top of it.

Nope. Just my ears. I thought about it though.
 
I was at a VPI demo over the weekend where they showed a prototype Classic 3 with - get this - a gimbaled arm similar to the one used on the Traveler! Matt Weisfeld said it will be an option for those that don't like the unipivot arms, it should be a bit easier to set-up as well.

Congrats on a terrific TT and especially for your patience : setting up perfectly a unipivot arm is a full time job !
