It amazes me how many different cable manufactureres there are. One would think the market for these cables to be limited, but apparently it isn't.

I'm not sure, there's no address on his website. I'll have to find out.

On the Triode Wire Labs Facebook page Pete is showing and discussing some upcoming power cable designs. One uses the Furutech top line connectors and the other is a solid silver design.
i am very interested in finding out more about them.

Guys, recently TWL has been quite famous here in France. Mostly for the power cables which are great quality and excellent value for their reasonnable prices.
I have heard almost no feedback on interconnects and speaker cable in my country.

Let us know what you do Buddy. It's great to see you here again.

I believe only a town away.

Thanks Mike.

TWL interconnects have been highly recommended to me. I need to experiment and what works best for me.

Disclaimer: There are two parts to this review. Please read ALL of it.

Quite a while back, I tried one of Pete's "developmental" cords in my system. (I think it was an "8") It was so long ago that Pete didn't even have any TWL markings on it yet! I thought it sounded pretty good, but not enough to make a change.

Fast forward a few years... Pete developed his line to include a 7+. I asked for an "audition cord" to try out. Well, what a difference! Pete's 7+ beat out my Virtual Dynamics Master Series 2.0 LE cord by a good margin, so I bought the 7+ and happily sold my Virtual Dynamics cord (for a profit, no less!) to fund the TWL cord and have left over $$$.

I quickly put that extra money to good use (along with additional $$$) and one by one started to replace all of my cords in my system with TWL cords. I now own (2) 7+'s, (1) 8+ and a 10+. Wow! If you think one of Pete's cords makes a difference, you gotta try them throughout your system. Their effect becomes "cumulative" in sound. They not only sound great, they are a great value in a world of obnoxiously overpriced audio wire.

I am SO glad I gave Pete's TWL cords a second try. Auditioning his developmental cord didn't give his current production cords any justice. I won't give them up now!

3 thumbs up! LOL

Hi Joe,

Both Pete and I live in Massapequa. Not sure what town you are in, but you are more than welcome to come over for a listen one day.

I have Pete's power cables and speaker cables in my system. I've tried quite a few over the years and have now settled on TWL. I know Pete offers a good sized trial period, but I suspect that you might not be returning anything if you do check them out.

He's been joining forces (the full loom - power, speaker, interconnects) with Volti Audio at some recent audio shows, and judging by the reviews and my own experience there is something very musical about these cables.

Good luck,
Bob

Hi Joe,

Like Bob, I am also personally acquainted with Pete at TWL. I have four TWL power cords in my system. I cannot claim that these are the best sounding cables in the land, but I have not heard better. What I can say is that parts quality, assembly and reasoning behind the designs are all tops- no shortcuts, handmade, lots of options. Outstanding value and a company that will stand behind its products.

Best regards,
Andrew.

I had all Kimber in my system. Power cords, interconnects, speaker cables.
I really liked the cables but I hated the WBT connectors. Last October I had to come up with some money to participate at RMAF so I sold my all Kimbers. Everything sold on Audiogon within 4 days.
I got back from RMAF and didn't have enough cables on hand so I borrowed some Transparent Audio cables from a friend. Now we are talking some really expensive cables; 6K for a pair of interconnects? Anyways, my system became dead. All those modules that Transparent puts in place are nothing but passive filters that deaden the sound.

Anyways, Pete sent me some new power cords and interconnects. My system has never sounded better. The pricing is astoundingly good. They just beat the pants off the Transparent at 1/10th the cost. "Transparent is a joke"..should be called non-Transparent.

Welcome to the forum Andrew, thank you for joining.
