Surround Sound Processors, Multichannel Power Amplifiers, AV Receivers, Video Processors (4K Pass-Thru & 3D), THX +

We have no thread yet on those. So here she is.

I'm going to start very light; and slip progressively into Ultra High-End Surround Sound (Hi-Res multichannel Audio),
and Hi-Def Video (4K Upscaling & Thru, 3D Pass Through & all that visual jazz), with some of you's help. :)

* All five AV receivers from above are equipped with Audyssey MultEQ XT32, the highest level of Auto Room EQ & Calibration system from Audyssey included inside an AV receiver.
All five pass 3D through, and all five upscale video to 4K (Ultra HD).

Still kicking myself for not getting to this room until after it closed! They were showing with Stenheim speakers and AudioConsulting amplification.

I missed a lot of room in Zurich yesterday as well. I barely heard TAD and Focal and mised a couple interesting rooms. Never enough time.

Did Onkyo/Integra lost their touch? ...Or is Marantz (AV7005) that much superior?

By the way, the Integra DHC-60.5 SSP is equipped with Audyssey MultEQ XT32.

Out of these three reviewers (Mikey, Kris, and David); the highest level of confidence I have (from extensive readings that spread over several years) is for Kris. ...Number two is Mikey, and last David. But Mikey is not on my list of reviewers for AV Receivers and AV controllers. And David is not on my list at all; for any products, and even for Blu-ray movie reviews.
* Tom Norton is near the very top for any audio/video product. I've been reading Tom since we were both kids!

I do wish it had another analog video input or two for some of my older video equipment, such as a Sony Hi-8 deck--better yet, the analog video should offer S-VHS inputs, but I guess those are no longer a contemporary requirement.

Yeah, we're in pretty good company! For the price, it's pretty hard to beat. If I had separate audio and video systems, then I might choose a different pre-amp since I don't use the Audyssey room correction for music (I connect my Oppo 105 via m-ch analog outs for that purpose, HDMI for movies), but it's a great processor for video and a more than adequate audio pre-amp.
