These Keith Jarrett's box set NEVER EVER sounded better.

The Bass is heart pounding , symbol sounds so real , Piano sounds like dancing on the water and Keith's humming is right in front of face.

Damn I'm hooked on these.

Okay, all is back to normal...Paul has returned to the Stillpoints thread with full enthusiasm. Carry on....nothing to see here.
 
And, I see a late night in my very near future enjoying my new CD player....I mean Stillpoints. So weird these things could make this kind of impact.
 
Guys I'm listening to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" on vinyl for the first time with Ref2 and StillPoints all dialed in. On the Brain Damage and Eclipse cuts I nearly came out of my skin when, with my eyes closed during the lunatic laughing portion of the cut, the voices suddenly came up from behind me! Scared the crap out of me! :bonkers: Now that is a fully enveloped and imaged sound stage. Whoa!

With the Ultra 5 he will be tapping on your shoulders, that's how good they are! :panic:
 
I see spending more money in my future. What would you suggest would be most effective to cover first if I were to purchase 3 or 4 Ultra 5's; my amplifier, pre-amp, power (QB-4), or source (TT, CD)? Honestly, until this moment I really have not given it a thought because of being so please with the SS'. This would be a progressive purchase process taking place over time. I'm thinking Amplifier... What say you?

then Amps, Power conditioners and then sources

Thats the way to go

And trust me I installed a few and thats the path I recommend you

You can try with sources first but the most benefit you can gain is in speakers first
