Recently took delivery of an Esoteric K-01XD delivered by SAIA, total weight on the pallet was 120 lbs. It was purchased through Suncoast and I will mirror Mike's comments regarding SAIA's delivery process.
I was called by SAIA when it arrived at their local terminal to schedule delivery (I live in Colorado, the SAIA terminal that contacted me is in Colorado Springs which is ~30 miles south of my location). The date and relative time was of my choosing so there was flexibility in the delivery schedule. I was given a 2 hour window for delivery and was contacted by the driver by phone the day of delivery when he was 30 minutes away. A 45 foot tractor trailer with a tailgate pulled up in front of my home 30 minutes later. The driver took the box off the pallet placed it on a dolly and took it down my driveway to the lower level of my home where the music room resides. He helped me bring it inside through the sliding glass doors of the room, something I wasn't expecting but did appreciate. Very prompt and courteous service.
The only issue I had, which ultimately was a non issue, was my ignorance of an indicator & label on the Esoteric box that tells if the shipment was tilted or upside down during shipment (the label explained that the box should be level and not upside down during its journey and the indicator would provide proof of that). When the driver took the box off the pallet (in the trailer of the truck) he put the box upside down on the dolly. It remained this way for the 5 minutes from the truck, down the driveway and into the music room. The K-01XD has performed flawlessly and sounds exceptional so I don't believe the errant handling in the final minutes of delivery resulted in any damage. However, for any future deliveries (regardless of delivery vendor) I will to ask to inspect the box prior to taking it off the truck to confirm if there are any indicators that provide a record of, and guidance for, it's handling. You might consider the same approach if you go down a similar path.
