Mike, how did you find the sound in this room? Having owned Boulder 1000 series gear, I found it sounded powerful, well controlled, quiet, overall natural, but neutral and a tad dry. In my system, I ended up running my modded Ayon CD-5s as linestage. The Coltranes seemed happier with some tubes in the mix. Though my friend who owns the 2120 dac & 3060 amp said they sound silky and smooth, almost liquid like tubes.

Excellent! That room is right across the hall from my hotel room. I've gone back to it many times. Sounds great.

I think that the cover is being sung by Gregory Porter from his album "Be Good"

It is becoming a big audio show test track in some rooms.

Hey Mike, great job with all of the coverage, pics and videos!

Thanks Le Roy! Here's the video:

I assume those attending will post a summary of their favorites and highlights...Thx in advance!

The song is God Bless The Child, first sung by Billie Holiday. Not sure who is doing this cover.

Ken

Ken, many thanks, appreciate it.

I think the singer is Gregory Porter - my favorite of his takes so far.

I hope so, pictures don't tell me anything about the design and engineering aspects of the products.

Thanks for all of the great photos and videos. I've been surprised at how little coverage about the show is out. So I'm thankful for all great photos here on AS!

I'd be curious if anyone has impressions to share of the PS Audio/Ryan room as well as the Raidho setup?

The Ryan rooms were a disappointment this year. They always sounded better at previous shows.

The Raidho D4.1's sounded good. They were big speakers for such a small room. Would have loved to have heard them in a big room.

There were some real stinker rooms. I'll let others discuss those. :|

I really liked the industrial design of the Voss Audio gear. Using a combination of copper and carbon fiber was cool up close. Also the line stage and phono stages are battery operated.
