Recent GTG at Bob's place this past Monday

Which SuperCD cut did you play, ie #2,4 or 16 "solo de bass"? Next time play them the Mussorgsky organ cut from the UltraCD.
 
That looks like a nice simple integrated. I only heard the Waves with Bob's Absolare SET amps, but I will go on record saying that I don't think you'll quite get the magic that I heard through them with just any old SS amp.

I still think about them at night when I'm listening to some sweet, beautiful jazz. :cool:

We ALWAYS play the Mussorgsky cut:exciting:

Also, there are "Wave subs" coming in the near future....about $8K/pair amplified. The Waves price now that the subs will be available is going to be $21,800 in Maple, with an upcharge for Walnut or Cherry. In small to medium sized rooms most people would not even need subs, but if you want full range "Wave Sound", then the subs would be nice. The SoundKaos subs are optimized to seamlessly blend with the Waves.....in any room.
 
I really like the Waves. A lot. For the way I listen, I think they'd be perfect. They sounded great at Bob's. Just a wonderful and intimate speaker.

Yes Bob, I heard the Waves WITH the subs…they were prototypes. i think I posted the pictures here already.
