Is Spotify on the same level as Qobuz and Tidal from a SQ standpoint?
I have Tidal and Qubuz. The wife likes Tidal for her music picks and I like Qubuz.
I dropped all 3 for Amazon.
Btw, Spotify (Premium) still isn't mp3 though it's the most well known and thus frightening bogeyman.
Pretty sure all have free trials.
cheers,
AJ
Depends. *If* the same master is used, they should be indistinguishable. There is really no way to know that and in the case of Tidal, there is definite remastering with their "MQA" tracks, for better or worse.A.J., does Amazon HD sound as good as Qobuz and Tidal?
Small price to pay for such an extensive library.
It sure is.

It's also interesting how some 16/44.1 files trounce supposedly high-rez files in SQ.
Not to mention that many so called high-Rez files do not contain and more musical information than the original 16/44 CD.
We had Tidal. Canceled. We enjoy Qobuz. We can also share our Playlists here and if you like them you can add them to your own.
