i am willing to Risk and see what do you think, thats why my topic is here .


again let me summarize it in bg salary is around 300$
people doesnt care or never buy speakers for 16.000$ like focal utopia diablo,
thats why no market no demo no show room nothing.
This forum on the other hand is full with people who spended a lot of money for different audio gear so its not that impossible some to try these speakers and report his opinion.

I would never ask completely strangers who hear completely differently than me to go listen to speakers and tell me which ones I should buy. That is a recipe for making a bad decision.

And some of those dealers carry brands they actually like, and they believe they sound good, so I'm not sure why you would call them and expect them to say anything different when you ask what they think.

It's like you want someone else to make the decision for you.

I really do hope you end up with great speakers that you love. This is not the way to go about it.

Same story is valid for Greece,Romania, you cant listen there these speakers as well.. so i really need to rely on the forum.
You have so many options thats why you will never ask strangers but i dont have any options.
yes i have options to be without any speakers like i am currently.
I think if several speakers are heard even from strangers its much better compared to shooting in the dark.

I'm an audiophile cheapskate since My first retail pair sounded poor in my listening room with my components and trade in was 50% at only a month old! Now I rwfuse to pay list without having at least a month to home demo. Your focal diablo's might have the highest ceiling with good recordings, but might be the first to run you out of the room with 70's rock. Kef Ref 1 meta throw a lot of mid/treble into a room and with good enough source hold it all together while being the speaker that adheres most strictly to science, but finding speakers that favor the music you play most can turn an average experience inti a beautiful one. The B&W get some bad press for how they voice their speakers, but they sell loads of speakers so a lot of people like what they're doing.

Even if you enlisted a half dozen of us to go out and demo for you it still wouldn't really help you. Each speaker you mentioned has a good rep and the ref 1 meta would be the most I spent on new without a home demo only because what the diablo might excel at something that is outside what i'm listening for. The sopra might be good, idk...old focals could be unforgiving and Idk if it still applies?

How far are you from Sofia? They have a few shops and Sofia Audio Center carries some really high end gear. You mentioned the low wage but they carry D'Agostino, Aries Cerat, for example, those are not in many budgets even in the states.

Even if you hear another model in the series you are considering it would be better than buying blindly. Or, it would be better to buy something you can actually hear opposed to buying one of the models you can't hear.

I was talking to an audio group about your situation and they mentioned like someone else here that the Focal tend to run bright.

Did you ever get some new speakers? I went to the Capital Audio Fest but none of your choices were there. I did hear the new YG Acoustics Tor ($10.5K USD), outstanding speakers.
