Pictures of your room

Thanks everyone for the kind words and ‘likes’. In these times of Wuhan virus, the side room, separated by acoustic curtains, is playing an important role... (though restocking is going to cost a component upgrade.)

The curtains in my room include several layers of a material called "Lumitex" which was developed by Dr. Bonnie Schnitta of SoundSense. The rear curtains have 3 layers of lumitex between two layers of fabric, the front curtains have a single layer. The curtains are not designed to be sound-isolating, though they do serve that purpose to a degree. Mostly the undulating folds provide absorption and diffusion and work in concert with the other aspects of the overall acoustic design. There is also a layer between the carpet and the carpet pad. The curtains pull across an open stairway opposite the wine cellar, and also across the opening to the wine cellar which is a small hallway leading to 3 bedrooms. The acoustic design goal was mostly to have an appropriate RT60, and while I've not dwelled on details for years the sound in the room is very good.

I've posted about my room on this forum, details of the remodel start about here: https://www.audioshark.org/showthread.php?t=4372&page=13&p=191296&viewfull=1#post191296

And, on WBF, there's additional detail: https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/wilson-arc-for-me.15727/

Some pictures of my system. I want it to be as simple as can be and a bit "tired" of all the linear PSU´s and decoupling/Powercord for each, but I can clearly hear they are all needed :)

Appears my first post in this thread with photos actually worked. Unless I am the only one who can see my system photos.

Thanks for asking. The rack and amp stands are Finite Elemente Pagode Master Reference Edition and Amp Stands. Mine are based on the original design that I purchased about 6 years ago. Since then Finite Elemente went bust but has come back recently with new financiers. They have upgraded some of the technology from the original design for apparently improved performance. Hopefully they survive better as a company this time around.

The room contains various acoustic treatments built by myself based on a design from Rives.
