Pass INT-60 Review

Dim, yes. Off, no.

On my unit...it does nothing

If you look at Page 5 of the Owner's Manual for the INT-60 (https://passlabs.com/images/uploads/manual/INT-60_om_quick_start.pdf) you'll see that although the remote itself has a Display button it's not used on the INT-60.

I was going to say Joe; you said that was on the INT-30. Are we sure, that holds true...for the 60.

And apparently not! BOO

It would be a shame if you let that deter you from a great integrated.

No Bruce; I wouldn't let that be a deal-breaker. But I do hate it...when designers skip something, so simple to implement; that at least some...would find useful.

I wonder what logic was used in deciding to disable the display button ...

Trust me it's not the first time I bought something only to realize that something so simple was overlooked and made it tremendously frustrating to ignore.

I think the Pass remote works for all the Pass integrated amps and preamps; not all the features are implemented in any given model.

Yes, that's what it seems like. But, at this price point, a little more attention to detail is not only desirable, but required, IMO.

How difficult is it to either make a new remote without the "display" button or implement the "display" button functionality on the INT-60?

In many systems I'm sure the INT250 will sound better than the INT60; in my case it's almost twice as much money, though, and the INT60 sounds so good

How's your INT-60 doing? Still good?

Thanks for reminding me of this thread. It had been a while.

Still good, in fact I haven't really been thinking about my system for the last several months, just enjoying listening to music :D

Sounds great. I ordered the Pass Labs INT-60 a few weeks ago. I got the Taves show special price, in Toronto. The Pass Labs dealer said I should receive it within a few more weeks. While waiting, I sold my Krell integrated. I can't wait for it to arrive. I live in Toronto, Canada. I'll let people on the forum, how it sounds. My source is Krell Cipher sacd/cd player, and Pono hi Rez player. My cables are Siltech Ruby Mountain II, Siltech Ruby Hill II, Siltech Princess XLR-XLR, and Siltech Prince to my Sonus Faber Guarneri Memento speakers. I also have PS Audio AC12 power cable going to my PS Audio P10 Regenerator. Also, I use. Klipsch Sub. Thanks

Any updates on the INT 60? I'm almost ready to pull the plug on one. Can these drive 89db 8 ohm speakers to reasonable levels? My room is small at only 10X16.

I'm also thinking of switching to Magico S1's. Anybody have any experience with the INT 60 and Magico?

The first part shouldn't be a problem. My room is at least 50% bigger, my speakers' rated efficiency 90 dB 6 ohm

Welcome brb. I've always liked Magico and Pass (especially Class A pass) together.

Thanks for the input! I have heard that the Pass Class A is really something special.

Hi all,

Have been exploring the Int-60, to replace my very value for money modwright kwi200.

The int-60 will be used to drive the wilson audio sabrina (87dB, 4ohm).

Room size is around 6m x 6m (20ft x 20ft), type of music played will be mostly vocal, jazz, and pop (80s, 90s).

At the place where i reside, the dealer doesnt stock the int-60 and there is no 30 days return policy. As such there is no way to listen how the int-60 pairs up with the sabrina in my room.

From your experiences with the int-60, would the int-60 be a good match for my kind of music and roomsize?

Thanks in advance

Cheers
