while they sell many products and I have no affiliation or own any products except music . The sound is amazing a word many use in audio but rarely is this word needed. In this case it's not a good enough word.

One last thought and it's not meant to hurt them but it must be said. I feel HDtracks shroud be removed from any music download list . There subpar music that is noise infested above music so badly it effects the music. The fact yes fact that many of there hi Rez are upsampled is just one reason . The money I spent on them for far and few good sounding recordings.
Not sure if listed but acoustic sounds is a great download website.

I used to have a lot of Mapleshade CDs, and they are very well recorded, and sound great. However, I didn't really care for any of the genres or performers. HDTracks sells what the music industry provides. The same as any other download site with the same selection.

I love my Mapleshade and WildChild files. To this day, I have no finer sound reproduction regardless of resolution / sampling rate. Pierre was truly far ahead of his time. I do regret that some of the music is not my cup of tea because I would love to own every single disc they ever cut.

Thanks for the replies
yes genre is not all for me but I feel this way.
As I have made my system more transparent this unearths more of each track.
I now have hit what I feel is the bottom of many recordings in sonic qualities. Now of course there always is more lol but I need better more raw sounds to get there.
MAple shade has this very rare quality. In my life I am a old head banger so most all of the music I play has been way out of my genre. But like a good scotch or beer it becomes what we like over time. Now having said this consider this. Why is there not much more of this type of simple less eq and Comp type sounds. It seems most all recordings must be justified by knob turners. As if they each must own the end sound. How about we let the musicians be the maker of how it sounds so we get more of them and not the knob turner.

Tell us about your system and we'd be happy to recommend ways for you to spend a lot more money :yahoo1:
