I love the fact Myles gives not just the high points but low points of any gear reviewed. So many reviewers sugar coat everything and make ever kit sound like it is faultless.

Question for you re: amg optional second armboard. How far does it stick out to the rear from the viella footprint? And does the end of tonearm stick out further at rest or during pivot/playback?

The armboard extends past the rear of the table just where the second arm mounts....about 3-4 inches.
