Interesting to hear about CDs doing well in other parts of the world. When I travel I often see street vendors selling pirated CDs. I guess those count too!

A friend went to the New Orleans Jazz Fest, he told me there was a tent where you could buy CD's of some of the prior day performances. I thought that was a cool thing and CD makes a nice medium for that.

I saw the California Guitar Trio several years ago and on the way out they were burning disks of the show and they all signed them when you bought one.

We attend plenty events like that here , the wife always buy CD’s from the performers as a memento and for support , never been disappointed the quality were always very good ..!
