I can't hardly wait to see how the SHL5's are gonna match up with the mc275 v6 that's coming soon.

I look forward to it as well...it's a combo that I've considered for a long time, as I've pondered finding a tube amp that'll make my SHL-5s happy. Right now they're one a T+A a1530r, and it is a fantastic matchup but one is never truly satisfied, no?

My other speakers (to the SHL-5) are Quad ESL-63 pros. They're very similar in the midrange to the sHL-5. A compliment to both speakers as I consider it to be as close to flawless as I've heard. Not that I've heard everything. But both of these speakers do not leave me wanting much else. Maybe a tad more bass but I live in an apartment so my neighbors would not be wanting that.
