I didn’t think anything would replace my Aurender N20 at home.

Well damn…I brought home Pink Faun Ultra 2.16.

Did an extensive A/B. It wasn’t close.

This music server is on an entirely new level. The transparency, placement of instruments, sound staging, toe tapping musicality is unparalleled in my system.

Very cool. Heard great things about the Pink Faun.

Also, I didn't know you used a C-J GAT as your preamp. C-J makes wonderful gear. I used a CT-5 pre and an LP-70S amp for many years.

Pink Faun is one of the products I intend to learn more about at the Florida Audio Expo. I look forward to hearing the Pink Faun in the Luxury HiFi/Suncoast Audio room.

for a reason I have Pink Faun in my list, hardware technically they do everything right, amazing oxco clocks, power supplies, shielding, use of audio outputs with a separate lps, adjusted bios settings

Only thing is that it is over my budget, it is how it is - a dream for the future.

Check out the new Pink Faun Scion. We have 3 for the Florida Audio Expo.

I have the Pink Faun Dual Ultra and love everything about it after a few months now. I replaced a Wadax server and while it was a noteworthy accomplishment, the combination of PF Server and MSB Cascade DAC has taken my AQ to an entirely new level. I have suffered through many buggy software updates with other audio companies. Pink Faun has perfected the process. Your system has its own IP address. When accessed with your browser, you are presented with a summary page and a menu of options. One of these is Software version. If an update is available, it is shown here. One mouse click and the download begins. Presto - in a few minutes it is done and you are back in the sweet spot. Very good engineering. This company is for real.

No experience with their actual severs (yet) but I can say their USB cable is top notch. Not exactly cheap but also not up there with the most expensive USB options either. But man does it sound great in my system.

I have two friends who sold their Taiko Extreme servers and got the Pink Faun Ultra, which says a lot.

My own custom server has been built around the Pink Faun Ultra USB cards for the last 4 years.

Sadly for US buyers, both pink faun and Taiko are manufactured in the Netherlands and after this week the import tariffs are +20% to be paid to the American government

That is about 4-6k dollar extra tax.

Effective April 5, 2025, a universal 10% tariff applies to all imported goods, with an additional 20% tariff specifically targeting EU imports starting April 9, 2025. This results in a cumulative 30% tariff on EU goods entering the U.S.

That is still better than Korea*, which is where Aurender is beeing made, which will be hit with 35% tariff.

*South Korea - North Korea, like Russia, are exempt from trariffs.

If you’re serious about buying one, give me a call. I’ll put you in touch with one my dealers and we will honor the old price this week. For you. Ready? Many distributors are not raising prices.
