Hegel H190 --> Musical Fidelity M6s PRX ?

Hello
I am using only streaming / Tidal hiFi Plus , Lumin D3
I got H190 Hegel ., Audiovector QR5 speakers, good cables ;)

How do you think... Is it good idea ?... to exchange in my system integrated amp Hegel H190 for Musical Fidelity - MF M6s PRX power amplifier ?
Will I get better dynamic, quality sound, detail / precision sound with differences in depth of sondstage (now is not bad but I am considering to buy PRX)
Or it is non sens idea ?

Thank you for advice

If you bought the Musical Fidelity what would you use for a preamp? Your H190 is integrated which is both preamp and power amp in one box. The Musical Fidelity will need a preamp.

The Musical Fidelity will sound very different than the Hegel. The MF will be warmer and sound stage denser, instruments will seem thicker and bass fuller.

If you like the type of sound from your Hegel the MF would probably not be a good move for you. You might want to move up the Hegel line or stick with brands more known for neutral and transparency. On the other hand if you are looking to warm things up a bit, a touch of lush, you might like the Musical Fidelity.

If may make a suggestion, you'd get better results and more satisfying experience by putting the money for purchasing a new integrated amp into a purchasing Shunyata Altaira ground hub, instead. Hegel makes excellent integrateds, and personally, I don't see where the "upside" would be to switch it out for another amp.

If it were me, I'd use those funds instead for making key foundational upgrades, e.g. your room acoustics, grounding (Altaira) and power distribution improvements before switching out to another amp.

Just my 2¢. Cheers.

Thanks a lot. Tomorrow PRX will arrive to me. After testing I will drop some info.
Power cables , XLR interconnectors - all are really good quality. Silent Angel and linear supply also support my system ...
I know that it is important
As preamp Lumin D3 works OK with internal Leedh . It is OK, I do not need another preamp therefore.
Acoustic ....hm very difficult subject :) The room is using also by my wife who is "little" sensitive for such "beautifull" gadgets on the wall :)

I say ... our wifes are one of the most difficult element in our audio path :)

Looking forward to your thoughts after listening. If you feel any weakness in the sound I'd suggest trying a preamp.

Dear Sir, good morning

Which is your experience with Lumin D3..?

I know it is the new model replacing previous D2 but I did not read any special reviews here. Which streamer were you using previous to D3..?
