I started looking at them last night. I actually think they could be a heck of a lot more fun. Is the retail actually double? I tried to find out.

I was trying to decipher a price from the "show" reports last fall and it looked like the price being talked about was 7000 Euros. Maybe Bonzo or one of the European members can find out. If that projected price is close your looking at around $7500 minimum. Maybe Everest's distributor/friend can give him a better number.
If those spec's are correct or even close that is some kind of bass response for a speaker that size though 5" tall with spikes is not small.

My guy is thinking just over $10,000 CAD. So, that places it in the $7,700 USD range.

Even at $7700 that looks like a really good speaker for the money. I guess though if you already have subs on hand the Direkt may be more than enough.

If I thought I could get more speakers in here past the "management" without selling off some I would love to try the Dreiklang or the new Spatial X-1. The Dreiklang is even cheaper and wouldn't require a second Nord and a MiniDSP. That puts the X-1 at closer to $13,000. Similar height and profile too. I would suspect being down ported the Heco's would be much easier to place in the main room. Either would work well in the much bigger Family Room.

Wow, the specs on the Dreiklang is just superb. Though I am not in search of a new speaker, the Dreiklang looks something very especial.
Jack, the X1 performance with MiniDSP will be sub-par ? Having listening to the M3S for some time, the X1 could be a mind blowing speaker and for a speaker of that caliber, you really need theDEQX/LIO

The Dreiklang are $8500 delivered. Correction, not sure if this price is correct.

My distributor made a mistake. He now has his pricing figured out. In Canada, the Heco Direkt will be $4,500 CAD and the Dreiklang will be $14,000 CAD.

Converts to about $10,500 USD. But, that's the Canadian retail. I don't know the US retail from the US distributor.
