One of the most impressive, well-designed, well-engineered, and musically engaging and satisfying audio components I've ever bought is my Lumin P1.

One key reason is how just how well Lumin thinks through the engineering of it's products. The Lumin P1 comes with a beautiful, exceptionally well-constructed acrylic and zinc LUMIN remote is that made in Austria and is Roon Ready.

The Lumin remote lets you power on/off the P1, select source inputs, as well as set listening volume with the innovative LEEDH digital volume control technology (which also is the best I've ever heard, BTW)

Well, yesterday I noticed that I couldn't turn my P1 on or off with the remote, and that a tiny little red LED was lighting up at the top of the remote. This little LED indicates that the batteries needs replacement. but It's so subtly-placed that you can't even see it when the LED is not illuminated. It only lights up when it needs to, indicating that the battery needs replacement.

Now that I've replaced the batteries, the LED is out, once again, you can't see the remote's battery replacement LED when not illuminated. Another example of how well Lumin engineers it's products.

For example, all Lumin products have a proper chassis-ground terminal on the rear panel. This allows for the best type of connection to connecting a ground cable to chassis ground for a Shunyata Altaira. (y)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: those guys at Lumin have got it....GOIN' ON.
