I have decided to purchase a home theatre chair to replace my couch in my 2ch/ht room (Merry Christmas to me). It will sit nicely in the sweet spot for my Acoustat 2+2 speakers and it should be more comfortable for watching movies. I tend to lie on my back or side on the couch right now which is not the most ideal position. The couch is also getting a little worn out with not as much support as it used to and I sometimes get a sore back.
The chair I have bought (still arranging delivery) is a used (demo) Fortress Corona with power recline, heat/massage (which I'll probably never use) and oversized arm rests and seat back and two metal cup holders (for those thirsty sporting events) . It is in Buffalo suede which should match my room well. It looks quite comfortable from the ad and reviews seem very positive.
Does anyone have any experience with this brand of chair? It is a little more than I would normally pay for a chair (about $2200 shipped) but considering I spend about 5 hours a day listening to music or watching movies I think it is time to get a quality chair. Here is a link to the ad:
