Don't hate us....but it sure is hot today!

I'm not sure why I live so far north, I really don't like winter very much; at least one that can last 6+ months.

Bob, you didn't tell us that you had a second home in Barrows, Manitoba. The station is at your home in Northstar. They even show your igloo! :) Cold up there this morning...

It was a chilly 64 degrees this morning when I got to the course for our 7:40a tee time. Had to put on a vest for the first few holes. It was up to 80 degrees by the time we made the turn and 85 degrees as we enjoyed our lunch a cold beer on the club's open air deck.

I love Maui !! We have a timeshare on Kaanapali beach. Will be there in March for a week, I can't wait ! I always bring my clubs. I love playing Kapalua and the Dunes :woot:

Guilty.

Forgot to mention my pool water temperature only got up to 75 degrees today, think I should install a heater?

Nice!!! I live there in the early 90's for 3 years.worked in most of the hotels on kaanapali beach I stupidly left for a girl. Didn't work out. Lol
I still miss it a lot . Trying to figure out how to get back there and retire. Lol. Lived in Kahana, kihei, and paia. In my time there. Was nothing but fun. I turned 21 years old out there as well.
Great times great memories. I'm jealous !!!! :)

Doug, higher up in the Great Northern Canadian outdoors it is minus 40° Celsius (same in Fahrenheit) or so right now.
And that minus 35° Celsius (-31° Fahrenheit) that I posted yesterday is just a little higher up from Ottawa, Ontario.

* I love that little igloo from that picture of your above quote.

______________

=> Right now at my place (outside), it is plus 46° Fahrenheit (+8° Celsius). ...No snow, and I go outside wearing only my sandals.
...Some pants too and a grey Canadian Stanfield's.

<<<>>> If you goggle North Star you are going to discover some very interesting facts.
My username was very carefully chosen. And it is the very best one that describes me best. ...Honestly/truly.

You saw it? ...At left of Akimiski Island from the James Bay. ...And named after the Attawapiskat river.

* My son (38-years old) lives around that area. ...Mother's name is Jeanne D'Arc (100% pure Indian blood).

Good humor, yes, but also mixed with true reality.

Apparently very nice scenery, have a close cousin that lives in Kuujjuaq, pictures I have seen in the past from that area are amazing. Mostly Inuit live there.
