Just received an Aries-Cerat Genus integrated amp (runs 845's) and their Helene DAV to review.

Here is a pic in the back of the SUV.

The integrated weight 150lbs!!!

Time for some help and the use of a dolly.

Will be trying the Signal Projects cables on it that so far have been nothing short of spectacular, and the Tobian 12FH speakers.

Wow, I wish I could hear that.
I just did some listening tonight.

Holy crap - beyond next level.

I am running Signal Projects USB and interconnects as well and what a mind-bending experience on the Tobian 12FH's.

I've got to listen more to really develop a handle on what I am really hearing over numerous sessions and types of music, but WOW doesn't even being to describe it.

The Tobian 12FH's, SP cables and the Aries-Cerat could make a lot of people happy for life with no need to ever upgrade.

I'll be curious how the other huge tube amp I have coming (hopefully this week) sounds as well.

Well I'm telling everyone that these speakers have been designed to be used with the DHT amps...hence using the DHT amp you hear what you hear now ;)...and SP cables help as well :)

UPDATE:

I was listening to the Aries Cerat Genus more today.

The dealer asked me to try it with the Psvane tubes first to see they are not bad for a cheaper replacement than the Elrog's.

I just put the Elrog's in today, biased them and listened.

Holy crap the difference is NOT subtle.

Yes I see his point it still sounds good with the much cheaper replacement option of the Psvane's, but the sound upgrade with the Elrog's is SO MASSIVE and positive it's unbelievable.

The Genus is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL sounding amp and could easily be an end game option for sure.

I also was able to compare the TripleFET options to the more traditional Aries Cerat tube designs at the dealer. While they both sound equally as good (it's simply a matter of personal preference as to which one is the right one) my wife and I did prefer the more traditional tube Aries Cerat.
