Nice looking setup and a +1 on VAC gear as well as the time and service that you get from Kevin Hayes.
I was lucky enough to acquire and older VAC CLA1 MKII a few years back in a package deal that cost me peanuts. All the VAC needed were new tubes which I first did on the cheap. Knowing the performance was not up to snuff, I called VAC just to ask a few questions. Kevin answered and took a good bit of time to educate me a little. I ended up ordering both 12ax7s and 12au7s that he puts in the newer products.
The next logical step would be to take it a mile from me to Bob at RHB Sound Dezign for some of his custom mods.
Anyone ever have work done by them?
