Yup, sand paper my records. Not a chance. Even my crummy ones I'd be afraid to! Maybe I'll take that ABBA record and give it a try...

Sandpaper? Really?:bonkers::evil: I smell trouble. It never ceases to amaze me what people come up with for cleaning and restoring records that is founded on either bad info or just not understanding the material or what type of dirt is usually found on a record. What's scary is that guy seems serious. At least he admits and states that one needs a lot of nerve to do it. I'd also recommend a few fresh mint copies of the record you are going to sand.
