What happened to AudioKarma?

I know that some of the members here are also members over at AudioKarma; and I too I'm a member, with less than one post per day on average (I visit sporadically on occasion, that's it).

But for the last few days their site seems to encounter some major difficulties! ...And yesterday was very very tough to access, and today is simply impossible! ...Nada, nothing, zip, nil, caput!

Maybe AudioAficionado has some to do with it! ;):D
 
I'm a former member of Audiokarma. I left it to come here because AK used to be a good place,but it has been taken over by trolls and hipsters of late. You can't post anything there without getting jumped on or some snot nose kid blasting you thinking they know everything or having your thread hijacked without getting an answer to your question or being put down just because of the music you listen to. It's become a joke partly because it's too big. I say good-riddens AK!

Their difficulty is the gave me a hard time this morning - pure stupidity...so I asked the Karma Gods to SMITE them ...LOL

serious, some good folks over there but there are a handful of dicks (can I say dicks ? ) that make the place a PITA. I tried to share a 6 month experience with carts with two failures caused by audio technica and two sheered stylus's caused by me. Pure accidental. I had to get a condescending answer that perhaps I should have a hi-fi tech mount my carts for me...You could have made tea with the steam coming from my ears.

Our good friend Jeff has accidently done the same with carts costing thousands. It happens, its an accident - does someone want to tell him he needs a tech ..LOL...I THINK NOT.

...First time I've seen that in five years (I was a guest before I became a member).

I still post a little there, but not a great place anymore. It has been a little buggy for a few days but I was just able to post in the Pics of your Listening Space thread.
 
I would think they'd have enough money for a functional site with their number or subscribers and potential ad revenue but regardless, I'm glad I'm not saddled with keeping it afloat.
