Nice regards for all,
Ricardo Nonato.

Are the Viola Forte's the two small amps on top of the the Ref 250s? What are the specs on those amps if you don't mind me asking Ricardo? Thx

Mike...I think the Viola Labs are power amps. The other speakers in the picture are Dynaudio Saphires. That pic was at a friend's house who obviously has ARC Ref 250s but I think Ricardo brought his Viola Labs power amps to compare with the Ref 250s maybe??

Cyril,

is Viola Forte yes, is very small in comparison to the 250s. This amps is 150 W in 4 ohms, but with high current.

Sorry for my poor english....

How do they compare to the Focals?

Mike,

The Violas played with Dynaudio Sapphires, and Focals played with 250s. We did an A x B between Violas and MC501 with Saphires, and in this configuration the Violas fared superior compared to 501. In this case, preamp AR LS27 and dCS Verdi La Scalla with Elgar Plus.

So they are Focals? Ok...good....I thought I was loosing it!

I bet the combos sounded excellent.

Cyril,

this was the day I received my Violas, put them on top of the 250 only we take the photo comparing the size of 250s.

The focals plays with the 250s, have not done a comparison of Focals with Saphires.

These smallish Viola labs forte r probably based on the similar look and design team who made the Cello encore mono blocks. Viola makes a wonderful albeit expensive product line. If u have efficient speakers these r a wonderful choice

One of the dealers I work with wants me to try some Viola amps. I heard them with TAD Ref1s and they sounded awesome!:audiophile:
