and i think they are showing a new speaker at munich so be interested in what you guys think

Yes, Verity are introducing a new model, the Otello. It is a replacement for the Leonore. So it sits just below the Parsifal Anniversary.
I use the Amadis and love them.

tell us more ?

interesting re the otello . I have had wonderful results with my Rienzi . it is always very hard when you move from excellent electrostatics like martin logan to a box speaker [ my wife had enough of them dominating the room ] so I was really thrilled to find these gems . they are very detailed and soundstage is big but no fatigue

if a pair of parsival ovation turned up I might go for them but the Rienzi is more than enough .

ah yes , the heco . heard them with the grandinote shinai . oh my gosh the bass was seismic . heard these a lot and they are very poular and good vfm at around 2.5k new . lovely finish and build . they don`t do it for me though in the same way which the Rienzi do which just flow and are just very compelling to listen to

I love my Rienzi's. I've had them going on 7years now (past 2yrs in storage). It'll be nice when I get back to the states and can hook them up again. I have no plans on upgrading them, just electronics.

Matt_zak,
I can relate. I've been incredibly happy with my Amadis and they continue to impress and reveal more as the upstream components improve.
