Tidal connect doesn't play on android phone

Hi

I noticed that after the last android 11 update Tidal connect recognizes Lumin T2 but can't play music
Tidal connect works fine on the iPad

Lumin app and Roon works also without any problem

I tried and Tidal connect works OK on android based TVs
Maybe any security issue with the last update?
Does anyone have the same problem?

I tested both Android 10 and Android 12 with latest Tidal Android app 2.66.0, both work for me.

I'll see if I can find an Android 11 device in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, please update your Tidal app. Go to Android permission settings for Tidal app. Make sure you grant it Nearby Devices permission.

Then power off all devices on the network including all mobile devices, TV, Roon Core and Lumin. Power cycle the router. Wait for 5 minutes, then power all the devices back on.

Let me know whether it works or not after you've done all of the above.

The android version is 12 and not 11 as I wrote

Another two friends have the same problem
 
Fixed after removing and new installation
The first and old IT recommendation:)
 
I'm glad you fixed it. In retrospect, this makes a whole lot of sense, since you did an OS upgrade.
