The 50th anniversary release of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper Lonely heart band

So, a couple of weeks back the 50th anniversary release of the classic Sgt. Pepper lonely heart club band album hit us. This time remixed and with a disc full of extra material. Remixing such classic album is a challenge, especially since there are many purists out there.

My question, for you fellow audio sharks, is - have you listened to this release and if so, what is your opinion regarding the remix and sound quality?

I bought the vinyl version and heard the CD a friend brought over. The vinyl sounds quite good.

I have the reissue on vinyl. I really like the remix a d the alternate takes of the album are excellent as well.
 
I purchased the vinyl release as well. No regrets, good sound quality, great tunes.
 
I have the vinyl release and it sounds perfect. Well worth adding it to my other versions. Now they need to spend the same effort on Rubber Soul and Revolver!
