Stranger Than Fiction?

The only thing that surprises me is that Neal didn't go for a 30 something woman. Usually rock stars always trade way down.

I seem to remember something about that. I think she also dated JFK, Jr. for a while too but the family didn't approve.
 
Yes, this is a bad deal Neil is making. 36 years of happiness, inspiration and collaboration gone in 60 seconds! I don't recall hearing anything about Jackson Browne beating her or what have you, but then again I don't keep up that much with this sort of thing. I think David Crosby might have something when he said she is a predator with her track record. Ms. Hanna has not had an acting role since the early 80s. I guess she became a full-time activist. (Nothing wrong with that). I also hear she is rather autistic. (You would never know it from her interviews, but I guess it takes many forms, some being not so obvious).
No details yet, but I hear rumor has it that Ms Hanna is the "force behind the divorce" in this case. It's somewhat strange that Neil's marriage started having "trouble" a week after Neil and Hanna met at a protest a few months ago.
What's worse is Neil is pushing 70 and he doesn't realize the mistake he may be making (something tells me Ms. Hanna knows exactly what she is doing). Neil has heavy alimony coming. He also has children and one with special needs that he supports. I wonder what Ms Hanna will have to say about that eventually. Neil needs to talk to Ms. Hanna's ex's, but that won't happen. Something in the back of my mind is saying "gold-digger".
 
The gossip stories about Jackson Brown beating on Hanna are pretty old at this point, but I recall them as well. If you read the story from the link Myles posted, Neal's relationship with Hanna goes back years.
