The singxer is a digital to digital converter. Digital in is an USB cable from your computer, output in my case a toslink. Aes, digital coax, I2s also possible. The Singxer is a reclocker, that must remove jitter.

Disconnected my Sonore ultrarendu with lps and hooked my fanless nuc with this reclocker in between to my denafrips dac

The result is unbelievable, what an improvement, much clearer, lows are better, and sounds more high end. Music comes better out of the speakers

this reclocker is awesome. My streamer can be sold on the second hand market.

Are you using I2S?
no, the Singxer just arrived and the only cable I have is a toslink to hook the reclocker to the dac.

By the way: normally a toslink is limited to 92 kHz, this one is able to play at 192 kHz
Other cables are worth considering, they will make dsd possible

Try using a 1.5m coaxial cable. If you're using Ares II, DSD64 via DoP should be possible from toslink and coax inputs. With your DAC you're probably better off converting DSD to PCM in HQPlayer though.

Tnx for the tip. Still doubting about cables, so a great coax can be a great idea. HQPlayer is on my planning list. Had the license already and used it for Linux.

More things pending on this:

- another case from HDPLEX that has liquid cooling units, instead of the Akasa.
- A LPS for the Singxer
- Windows as OS, instead of Linux - Some say that Windows has better audiodrivers
- Use of Audiophile optimizer Highend-AudioPC | AudiophileOptimizer
- shut down all the pc parts in the bios but LAN and one USB port.
