Do you mean the X-QR series?
The Alpha-X and Sigma-X are new power product lines that replace the "legacy" Alpha V2 and Sigma V2 line of power cables. The first set of products with "-X" designation was the Venom-X line of cables, which replaced the long-standing Venom line of cables,
Just a side note: but the Venom-X (V-x) product line was a veritable breakthrough when it was launched (back 2022, IIRC?), and outperformed cable lines at the time that were priced at multiples of it's price tier. The Venom-X Product line also encompassed signal cables and speaker cables as well as power cords, and I'm presently using Venom-X XLR ICs to connect my Lumin P1 to my Constellation Inspiration integrated, and a V-x PC to power cable my Gemini in the remote server room, and am very satisfied with their performance, so I can only imagine how good the Alpha-X and Sigma-X PCs are.
Folks interested in these new lines of power cables should check with Mike, but my hypothesis is that Alpha-X and Sigma-X power cables significantly extend and expand the functional, engineering, and audio quality performance above and beyond the legacy Alpha and Sigma V2 lines. For example, they now incorporate
TAPc technology, which I presume is an extension of the TAP technology that was originally developed for signal cables, they also have a new 3rd-gen noise reduction (NR) circuit.
