Interesting. Back in the '70s I had an ADC ten band Sound Shaper stereo graphic equalizer in my system. Although I only made minor adjustments with mine, you could shape your sound from here to eternity. You could make up for room idiosyncrasies and poor mixes. I would like to see equalizers make a comeback. They can be very useful. FWIW, I saw Steve Guttenberg do a review/commentary on an equalizer and it was very favorable.
