I know some of you have been ogling the Melody SET amps. Although this is not SET (believe it's push-pull design), it has a quad of 845 tubes per channel outputting 150 wpc of Class A tube watts. For $13,600, these look like a bargain for someone shopping in this zip code: Melody Valve MN845 Monoblock Power Amplifier Review | A Unique Audiophile Experience

Thank you Cyril. I was showing those to Mike. I would love to hear them.

Joe...they look like beasts but this is the first time I read about Melody products. Don't know much about them.

I've heard one of their preamps and it was great. I'm sure the amps are great too.

Has anyone had an opportunity listen to the MN845's or other Melody gear? I am considering moving up from the AN845 integrated to these 150 Watt beasts. Thanks for any opinions.

The Melody gear is pretty highly thought of in the Far East. The Primaluna and Mystere gear is made in their factory. The Mystere gear shares the "Wet Black" look with the Melody gear. I would love to own their Pure Black preamp. You should contact Hugh directly through his "Circle" at Audio Circle.
