Question about mesh orbi: is wiring the satellite better?

Hi all,
I bought a lumin u1 mini streamer with s booster. I connected it to a orbi satelite. This satellite is not wired to the router. I am quite happy with the sound.

Will the sound get better when I connect it with Ethernet cable to the ORbi router? If so, which kind of Ethernet cable is best? Is cat 8 best???

If you are hearing drops/silence while playing music, then you need a better connection (stronger Wi-Fi or wired connection). If not, then you are fine.

You don’t need fancy Ethernet cables or a wired Orbi Satellite. Netgear Orbi comes with software to see the signal your satellite is receiving. WiFi will give you great sound, just make sure your Orbi satellite is connected properly to the Orbi router and has a good WiFi signal.

I own the Orbi Router connected to the satellite via WiFi and run four devices off the Orbi satellite’s Ethernet ports. Works great. Can stream Tidal HiFi with high res files to two devices simultaneously without a hiccup.

Stream 4K videos while streaming too. No issues.
