Primare CD-32 any thoughts?

Hi everyone

As my old Sony CD player is almost vintage, I'm about to buy a new CD player.

I'm considering buying the Primare CD-32 by my local dealer, but before i do so, I would like to know any thoughts and experiences you got ! :)
 
We used to have a dealer who carried Primare. I haven't heard any in a few years. I found them totypically be very well built, the sound quality to me always seemed to be a bit edgy in the highs. "edgy is the only way I can describe what I heard, even when the highs weren't overly bright they still had like an edge to them.

I'm not sure what price the 32 is in, Marantz are decent and at various prices, I liked my T+A very well, Ayre has one at around $3500 that is said to be an over achiever. Several good options out there.

Just have a good liste to the 32 before deciding to purchase.

After getting banned from another forum for no apparent reason, and with no explanation from it's arrogant owner I have been hesitant to post anything in any forums. However Mike and Joe run a great fair and honest forum here so I thought I might do a quick post here. This CD player looks pretty decent. You might also want to research the Marantz and Yamaha's. Love my Marantz but have had my eye on a Yamaha.
