I use a standard generic cable.

What do you use and whether its worth getting expensive cables.

Acro Mexcel 7300 here. I tried the top of the line 9500 wich I use with La Fontaine and my phono stage but it was to warm and to much bass for my ears.
Also tried Sablon Reserva but prefer Acro, also my ICs are Acrolinks 7N: 6300, 2090 Speciale and D5000, so I am " Acro biased" if you will.

I have found the GG sensitive to mains cables. I personally use the Sablon Elite Reserva - new top spec with Furutech ncf etc. Avoid Nordost ime.

Lessloss represents a good value for money IMHO. For 595 usd you can have Original with Oyaide 079 connectors, I have one , tried with my Lampi and may recommend it.
Between my Acro 7300 and Lampi inlet I have Lessloss firewall, one of my best tweaks but rather pricey.
Tob Sablon and Acrolinks cost a few thousand USD.

I will not even ask what they cost, afraid already

I use Swiss cables reference ...pretty reasonably priced compared to others and is a LUMENWHITE design.

It's a modern day remake of those classic unobtanium Western Electric cables from the 1950s with only natural material used in the shielding and with updated copper metallurgy.
There is quite a bit of tech behind the design and there is now a Reference PLUS series.

Gideon of Acoustics Arts in NYC now carries this.

On another note Lukasz will soon be releasing cables of his own making. The key differentiator will the the cables being subject to high voltage treatment (recall that Lukasz is a specialist of high voltage physics both from academic background and his corporate days). No idea what they sound like, but someone who heard the USB cable was impressed upon initial listening. Worth keeping an eye on, as I think they will be reasonably priced.

Many use Sablon. I use Tara Cobalt. Sounds superb, lots of body, bass, soundstage, but even used price is expensive, almost $1500

I had Lukasz advise on the topic, this is the price for his cables:

Good Copper AC cable for 200 Euro
Thinner Silver Shadow for 300 Euro
Thick Silver Shadow for 400 Euro.
All AC cables are 1,5m long
