Our next room at Capital Audiofest 2024 belongs to retailer and distributor Robyatt. Robin Wyatt, the company’s head honcho, loves smaller, often esoteric brands and his component-matching skills are strong. The meaning of the company’s name is readily apparent. In the room at the show was a Quad 2912 electrostatic speaker ($11,995), Java HiFi Double Shot integrated amp ($16,995), TZAR DST V1 cart $10,000), Bird of Prey tonearm ($15,950), VPI HW-RA direct drive turntable ($17,995), Robyatt Audio Sut RA 1 $(995), Senore Signature Rendu Music Player ($5350), and unique Wax Rack record stand. Cables and power products courtesy of Finley Audio (various prices).
Check out the video to learn about this interesting audio system and see Robin settle the always in-play discussion on whether the vintage Quads are the best speakers ever built. Also, Michael Van Voorhis of Finley Audio, takes us through his company's cable and power products!
