I have been using the Lumin app since it's initial beta with Linn DS products. It's my favourite control point.

However with the latest release 7.1.1 running on Android 14 on a Samsung tablet it no longer finds any of my Linn DS players.
I wonder if the app had been corrupted in some way so reinstalled it but still could not find the players.

I then installed the esoteric sound stream app ver 4.2 and this found the Linn DS players straight away.

So I'm wondering if not finding the Linn DS players is deliberate or accidental?

I hope it's accidental as I really like the app and would like to keep using it.

Peter

Update: One of my Android tablets still has Lumin 6.2.3 installed and this is working fine

Please describe your network infrastructure, state the brand and model of your router, WiFi access points, mesh, network switches and how everything are connected together.

Thank you for your response.

My network is all Ubiquiti:
Router Ubiquiti USG
WiFi access point: Unifi AC LR AP
Switch: Unifi US-8-60W 8 port

The router, switch and WiFi access point are hard wired together. One Linn DSM is wired to the switch. The other DSM connects via a Sonos Mesh network. The Android tablet, Samsung S8, connects to the WiFi access point.

The network has not changed nor has had any software updates since the previous version of the Lumin app was working.

The tablet that has version 6.2.3 of the app is working fine is also a Samsung S8 and sees both DSMs on thenetwork. Esoteric sound stream also sees both DSMs.

I just tried installing version 7.0.0 from apk pure and this is working fine and finds both DSMs.

And now installed 7.1.0 which is also working fine.

Tried installing 7.1.1 and it cannot find the DSMs.

So for me something changes from 7.1.0 to 7.1.1 that cause the problem.

Please let me know what further information I can provide.

Peter

Thank you Peter, version 7.1.2 has fixed it

I am very glad the issue was accidental and that I will be able to keep using my favourite control point in the future. I really like the excellent Lumin app - and the excellent support :)

Peter's support (and responsiveness and domain knowledge) is always superb. Just another example of Lumin's excellence in everything they do.
