Stay away from one-off failed science projects from Sam Laufer and Mark Porzilli. I used Memory Players for years but the last one I got was a tragically flawed design. I had multiple drive failures with it and it quickly bricked to the point it would not power on. It was a total loss to me.
I offered to sell it back to Sam for less than 1/10th what I paid for it and I would pay shipping. Sam agreed but never paid me even after several reminders. Once he knew I would never purchase from him again he showed his true lack of integrity. He also knew the design was garbage and he could not resell the unit.
I now have an Aurender N20. It has worked without a hitch for over 18 months. The user app (Conductor) is far superior to what Laufer-Teknik uses.
I could go into detail about the flawed design but the bottom line is save yourself some grief. Purchase from a real company with a proven track record of consistent quality products and customer service. There are many good options available. All are better than Laufer-Teknik products. I know several ex-customers and an ex-dealer. They are "ex" for good reasons.
