Just saw this Emmy Award winning documentary on The Eagles. Could not stop watching until late last night. So much of their music is etched in my memory and it was fascinating to see some rare original footage and the stories behind all those great songs. Made me feel a little nostalgic. Can't believe that Glenn Frey is no more.

For those who haven't seen this one yet I highly recommend it - specially for those of us who grew up in that era.

If it's the same documentary that was out a few years ago, it's absolutely wonderful. They certainly had their share of conflict too. One of my favorite bands of all time.

Wonderful documentary. I've watched it several times. They did a great job of covering the good, the bad and the ugly. The Eagles are my favorite American band.

Absolutely ... its amazing how tight they are musically even in the middle of all the chaos. Its a fantastic insight into the band.

So true!

I remember the last time I saw them, right after the Long Road Out of Eden album came out. After the first song or two Glenn Frey talked about how they worked with a vocals coach quite a bit before the tour. I was like..."Huh? a vocals coach? WTF? You're the freaking Eagles...you don't need a vocals coach!" But they really sounded spectacular. I remember Don Henley singing his song 'Boys of Summer' and absolutely killing it. The whole crowd was looking at each other just shaking their heads at how good it was.
