Nelson - in comparing the XA .5 to the XA .8 series amps - do they maintain the same slightly different flavor between chassis sizes (e.g. the XA 60.5 and XA 160.5 sounding smooth, warm and organic but relatively "neutral"and very similar to each other with a slightly different character than the XA 100.5 and XA 200.5, which also sound similar to each other but perhaps a hair warmer or more "tube-like" than their shorter cased brethren)?

I'm trying to figure out which amps for my Salon 2's. XA100.8's or X600.8's. Mostly for Rock and Blues.
What do you think ?
 
I'm really liking the blue glow in the dial. The white LEDs are a bit too white even when turned down via the rear adjustment IMO.

More importantly, though, like all things Pass, I bet the new amps sound terrific.
