In case you missed it, an affordable (€3000) 95dB sensitivity, purposefully retro 2 way.

It sounded big, meaty, relaxed and easy.

Seems they go for $3.3k in the US. Should sound sweet with some fine low-medium wattage power amps.

There are some impressions in the HiFi Wigwam thread linked above.

Audioprana has them for sale so I just pulled the trigger on a pair. I will report my findings once I receive them.

Can you post a video with music with some bass as well?

I will post a video when I receive them, which will probably be next week some time. The price seemed right, so why not give it a go, right?

Could not agree more. I have been looking at the DeVore Orangutan 0/96s, which are a similar concept.

The question about the bass was not meant in a mischievous way, it is just that the Nils Lofgren piece does not really tell you anything about what the speakers can do. So, it actually was meant out of honest interest.

And I heard the developer praise the bass qualities, so I am sure the Heco's can do nice bass. In that respect and for a natural sound paper membranes are actually not a bad choice at all.

Bonzo liked them at the UK show in Windsor. He reported on them at WB Forum.
