I was buying my first albums at my local Woolworth store.
...Back in 1969 (67-68?), and early 70s of course.
Yeah, about that, five bucks a pop back then ($3.99 for cheap ones, and $6.99 for double-LP sets).
...Not bad for memory right?
And then when you start talkin' digital CDs and SACDs and hi-res audio downloads and all that digital jazz, some people look at you like if you were from another planet!
...Like if they were from the newest and most revolutionary new analog planet!
Lol :lookatthat: :boing: :buzz: :bigbaby:
Besides, we all know that by now CDs are total crap, and that LPs have ticks and pops, and that R2R tapes are still the best.
I'm switching totally into Downloading eventually; that's the real future of vintage reality!
