Great article on vinyl resurgence...and some interesting nostalgia

Great article. Hard drive crashes and bad tagging. Another reason why vinyl rules! :)

It really started me thinking...where did some of my older vinyl come from...some teen in the 70's, in a record store...maybe spending $4.99 ..payed it with some friends...in his or her room with headphones...okay, I am waxing poetic here...LOL

I was buying my first albums at my local Woolworth store.
...Back in 1969 (67-68?), and early 70s of course.
Yeah, about that, five bucks a pop back then ($3.99 for cheap ones, and $6.99 for double-LP sets).
...Not bad for memory right? :)

And then when you start talkin' digital CDs and SACDs and hi-res audio downloads and all that digital jazz, some people look at you like if you were from another planet! :D ...Like if they were from the newest and most revolutionary new analog planet! :D Lol :lookatthat: :boing: :buzz: :bigbaby:

Besides, we all know that by now CDs are total crap, and that LPs have ticks and pops, and that R2R tapes are still the best. :D
I'm switching totally into Downloading eventually; that's the real future of vintage reality! :D
