Finally, my Falcon GB are arrived and playing (ordered 3 months ago )

I am so impressed with this pair. What an amazing sound coming from small speakers. I owned the Rogers, Harbeth etc. This is far the best LS3/5a I ever experienced with. Simply the best purchase I ever made.

I have them set up near field. ( 4 ft from my seat and 9 ft apart tweeter to tweeter ) and I feel like someone is painting the picture in the air. Just mesmerizing.
Currently they are powered by Luxman L595 Special Edition will pair them with my kondo and Bakoon later.

I have heard wonderful things about these little speakers. Back in the day they and KEF worked together as the BBC LS3/5's used KEF drivers. I know Herb Reichert from Stereophile is a huge fan. Being a fan of smaller stand mount speakers I have been intrigued by these (especially after reading Herb's review of them). I have also read some reviewers adding the KEF KC62 subs to them which they claim really fill them out. I know they do this for my LS50 Meta's!

No argument from me, the best LS3/5a made and one of the great speakers of all time. I've had two pairs of the Falcons but not the gold badge.

Have seen nothing but rave reviews about these Gold Badges.
I am looking very closely at these for a small second setup.

Congratulations, they are beautiful.

And...I'm a big fan of listening in the "near-field" as well. Right now I'm listening to Harbeth 30.2s in the quasi-nearfield. Right now, I'm listening to my 30.2s from a distance of...6.85 feet (as measured by a laser tape measure).

They look gorgeous.
I am no more in the mois dor ls3/5a but I admit that the two pairs of Falcons 15 ohms that I owned were the best 3/5a I listened to.
Balance is better to me than the P3ESR.
