Yes, the same Dion DiMucci who was a teen idol in the 1960's. He is now 80 and has just released a album of blues tunes with a amazing list of guest performers. Each song has one or more contributing. A sample of performers is Mr and Mrs. Springsteen, Billy Gibbons, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, and more.
His voice is still strong and clear. More of a singing style dating way back. All the songs are well done and production is very good. I found this album to be a pleasant surprise and easy listening.
